We adored Kelly and Chris’s romantic coral wedding vision, and we absolutely love that Grey Likes Weddings does too! Kelly and Chris were married last June at Veritas Winery in Afton, Virginia. Although the images from Jodi Miller Photography look picture perfect, the weather was not our best friend on the day. But that is one of the fabulous things about holding your wedding at Veritas, the rain plan in the main ballroom is beautiful, and they have a backup generator! The happy couple and their guests didn’t even know we lost power during the evening!
The wedding was a complete labor of love for the bride, who dreamed up the most gorgeous pink and coral whimsical with a large dose of southern flair! We loved helping Kelly execute her dream wedding! Southern Blooms created the most magical florals, and Goodheart Design was a revelation with her custom watercolor letterpress invitations and paper goods.

We are tickled pink to have our June Veritas Vineyard wedding featured on Southern Weddings! Kelly & Chris’s wedding was absolute magic – full of cheer and color! It was a labor of love for the bride, who dreamed up the perfect pink wedding celebration!
We absolutely adore this sneak peek from our recent wedding styled shoot with Adam Barnes Photography! Originally inspired by “The Art of the Flower” exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, this styled shoot incorporated bright colors, organic paint-like textures and beautiful blooms by Whimsical Floral Design. The Market at Grelen was the perfect backdrop to mix art and nature together in a romantic and whimsical way! We cannot wait to share more!
Special thanks to our industry friends for collaborating with us:
We spent a beautiful summer evening at Keswick Vineyards last night at the Community of Charlottesville Wedding and Event Professionals party! It was great to connect with old and new friends at such a lovely setting.
Back in December, we were lucky enough to be invited to the Clifton Inn FAM Trip! We were definitely spoiled — we had the opportunity to stay in their luxury suites, enjoy their fine dining and really just get the full Clifton Inn experience!!!
The first night, they threw an amazing welcome dinner! The chef prepared a delicious 5-course meal complete with wine pairings. As we sat down to dinner, we could truly appreciate how intimate and beautiful the Clifton Inn is as a wedding venue.
Many wonderful vendors contributed to the dinner experience. Rock Paper Scissors created the custom watercolor invitations, itineraries and menu cards. MS Events provided all the rentals (we love their crossback chairs!) and —- decorated the space with beautiful florals. Jen Fariello Photography was there to capture all the best moments.
We have always cherished the Clifton Inn and the FAM Trip just confirmed our love for this beautiful and unique Charlottesville wedding venue. From the incredible cruise, breathtaking grounds and hotel, and warm and world-class service, the Clifton Inn is beyond amazing!
We are so thrilled to see this classically romantic pink wedding inspiration shoot with Rachel May Photography featured on Grey Likes Weddings today! A huge thank you to the amazing group of vendors that helped put this shoot together! (See below).
Held at the beautiful Trump Winery, the venue truly set the tone for this romantic styled shoot. With the rolling Blue Ridge Mountains as the backdrop, we incorporated various pinks, greens and golds as the primary palette. Soft, flowing linens and organic calligraphy (by the lovely Korie of The Weekend Type) were only a couple of the ornate elements included.
How stunning are these florals by Jenn at Nature Composed? As always, she knocked it out of the park! The bright, beautiful colors added such life to this shoot.
We’re kicking off the week with a healthy dose of elegant farm wedding inspiration. Inspired by Ralph Lauren, we sought to capture the designer’s natural elegance, sophistication and timelessness in this styled shoot. Classic styling, layers and layers of pretty texture and an equestrian flair abound in these gorgeous images by Adam Barnes Photography at Mount Ida Farm in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Brighid & Cesar’s autumn Early Mountain Vineyards wedding was drenched in prettiness. From the hues of purple to the breathtaking bouquet by Nature Composed to the fun-filled reception of dancing, this wedding was spectacular!
Fall is a wondrous season. We love the colors and the textures that come alive. In an ode to fall, we styled an elegant fall wedding tablescape, with a twist, at a recent styled shoot with Adam Barnes Photography at Mount Ida Farm in Charlottesville, Virginia.
We focused on a neutral color palette with pops of burgundy and navy and lots of texture, including plaid linen, rustic wooden details, and a luscious, organic foliage garland that ran the length of the table. Romantic candlelight and “friends” and “family” napkin holders added a perfect touch to the table.
This table decor not only is beautiful for a fall wedding reception, but would also be ever-so-lovely for a Thanksgiving dinner!
Fall was a busy wedding season for us at Fête. But it was also so much fun – we love getting to celebrate with our couples on their wedding days!
Jenna & Joe were wed this October at Trump Winery in Charlottesville. Here are a few sneak peeks from their romantic fall winery wedding by the oh-so-talented Rachel May Photography! Get ready to fall head over heels for with the cranberry color palette, the beautiful florals by Southern Blooms, the picturesque views of the winery, and the sweet, sweet love of the couple.
